RNT Rausch supports initiative for new European flight route

Formula 1, school building in the Dominican Republic, now a flight route?! Yes, RNT Rausch is busy and not just with IT but with plans to help our long term goal. Our support for Jens Harryson and his Blekinge Airport is not just a flight of fancy, it is well thought out.

Starting this autumn, a new flight connection between Ronneby, Sweden, and Frankfurt will hopefully be established with the support of the company and the public. Why Ronneby and RNT Rausch in particular? The airport is in the heart of the Swedish IT hub Karlskrona zone but it has no direct connections with central Europe and the world; the local Swedish IT experts and companies will have more choice and no longer will have to fly convoluted routes via Stockholm or Copenhagen to reach international clients. For RNT Rausch this route both helps us expand into this strong IT market and for our Swedish commuting contemporary, Christofer Odehammar, he will spend far more time in the office and less time in the air!

As soon as enough interest has been generated, Blekinge Airport will enter into negotiations with various airlines. You can also support the project: Buy a three-year one-way ticket for the Ronneby – Frankfurt route on prepayment of 2,000 Swedish crowns (appx €200). This will help to assess the need and push the project forward.
